KEW EAST

With significant building renovations underway, our clients turned their attention to their vast garden. We were asked to create a very functional yet calm, relaxed garden that would cater for extended family gatherings and functions.

On a substantial block of land, subject to flooding and with many established trees this Kew East project provided a good challenge.

A significant amount of work was carried out initially to achieve the gentle grading on site, to drain it properly and to avoid the root systems of some very significant trees. These established trees provided scale so we focused on the middle to lower planting. To provide balance to the hard surfaces, we allowed the planting to creep in as much as possible and creating curves throughout assisted with this softening.

Our regular maintenance of this site will see it thrive for years to come.
